Embedded Memory Circuit Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded memory compilers at the transistor level, including bitcell design, sense amplifiers, decoders, and control logic
• Troubleshoot circuit-level issues across process corners, voltage ranges, and temperature conditions to ensure robust performance
• Collaborate with design leads to define circuit architectures and evaluate tradeoffs between performance, area, and power
• Apply advanced memory compiler techniques including timing closure, leakage optimization, and yield enhancement strategies
• Resolve complex design challenges using simulation tools like HSPICE or Spectre

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, VLSI Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience in memory compiler design and development
• Hands-on experience with transistor-level embedded memory circuit design
• Strong understanding of CMOS circuit design fundamentals
• Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as HSPICE or Spectre
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve circuit-level issues across PVT corners

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with memory compiler flows, including timing analysis and power optimization
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl for automation and design productivity
