Embedded Global Intelligence and Threat Monitoring Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor open source, social media and vendor feeds for global security threats
• Draft incident alerts and analytical reports that are timely, credible, and provide actionable insight
• Support threat monitoring around client travel, events and operations
• Convey draft recommendations for internal stakeholders during ongoing incidents and crisis management briefings
• Collaborate with other Sibylline analysts globally to stay abreast of best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in security studies, international relations, business management, or related field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in strategic intelligence-focused roles
• In-depth knowledge of geopolitical issues, security threats, and criminal trends
• Advanced research skills with ability to manipulate and visualize data
• Ability to work on site in Austin, TX
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Expertise in environmental hazards, crime data analysis, or GIS software (ESRI)
• Technical competency with IBM i2, Tableau, Splunk, Recorded Future, Palantir, or Everbridge
• Additional language skills
• Professional network through OSAC, ASIS, or AIRIP
