About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor open source, social media and vendor feeds for global security threats
- Draft incident alerts and analytical reports that are timely, credible, and provide actionable insight
- Support threat monitoring around client travel, events and operations
- Convey draft recommendations for internal stakeholders during ongoing incidents and crisis management briefings
- Collaborate with other Sibylline analysts globally to stay abreast of best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in security studies, international relations, business management, or related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in strategic intelligence-focused roles
- In-depth knowledge of geopolitical issues, security threats, and criminal trends
- Advanced research skills with ability to manipulate and visualize data
- Ability to work on site in Austin, TX
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Expertise in environmental hazards, crime data analysis, or GIS software (ESRI)
- Technical competency with IBM i2, Tableau, Splunk, Recorded Future, Palantir, or Everbridge
- Additional language skills
- Professional network through OSAC, ASIS, or AIRIP
