Embedded FW engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, and update firmware subsystems and portions
• Analyze design requirements to determine necessary coding, programming, and integration activities
• Write and execute comprehensive testing plans, protocols, and documentation
• Identify, debug, and resolve complex issues related to code and application architecture integration
• Lead project teams consisting of firmware engineers and development partners to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions
• Collaborate with management and external partners regarding design status and project progress
• Represent the firmware engineering team during all phases of large-scale development projects
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent field
• 6-9 years of professional experience in firmware engineering
• Expertise in multiple firmware design tools and programming languages
• Proven experience in designing firmware and managing hardware-firmware integration
• Strong expertise in firmware testing methodologies, including writing test plans, debugging, and developing testing scripts/tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present architectures and design proposals to management levels
