Embedded Firmware Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create detailed test cases based on defined requirements and specifications
• Test embedded controls applications to verify release items are addressed correctly
• Support controls application engineers and troubleshoot issues with existing systems
• Collaborate with project management and scrum masters to develop test plans and execution backlogs
• Provide technical writing for testing documentation, user guides, and service guides
• Support product testing and customer witness testing
• Maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced, regulated environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering
• 1+ years of experience with embedded controls or PLC firmware development and testing
• Knowledge of programming languages including C/C++, Python, PLC, Structured Text, JavaScript, HTML, or Bash Shell
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Ability to work onsite in Monterrey, MX (Apodaca/Santa Catarina)

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC and chiller specific knowledge
