Embedded Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software development life cycle, including requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Develop embedded software on Linux platforms within an Agile Scrum environment
• Research, test, and coordinate the integration of new products based on client requirements
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues within operational production environments
• Perform peer reviews and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Requirements

• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
• Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, or technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of professional experience in a related field
• Proficiency in Linux command-line environments
• Experience with Linux kernel module development and inter-process communication
• Expertise in multithreaded and real-time programming techniques
• Strong ability to analyze performance issues and implement efficiency improvements

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with TCP/IP and socket programming
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Xen, OpenStack, or VirtualBox
• Experience developing client/server architectures in C/C++ or Assembly
• Knowledge of formal testing procedures such as RVTM, FAT, or acceptance testing
