Embedded Controls Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with embedded software development and code organization
• Support debugging and troubleshooting of inverter control systems
• Develop and execute test scripts and validation activities
• Collect and organize test data for engineering analysis
• Maintain firmware and controls documentation
• Support controls integration activities, such as Beckhoff systems
• Provide hands-on lab support for testing and troubleshooting
• Support ongoing development projects including A130 and inverter improvements

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of embedded systems and control logic
• Familiarity with programming concepts such as C/C++ or PLC
• Comfortable working hands-on in a lab environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded firmware or PLC-based systems
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools
