Embedded C++ Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Algorithm Engineers to develop and optimize C++ applications for real-time operational mission data processing signal chains
• Work with remote sensing data providers to characterize data and tune signal processing chains
• Contribute to the development of a robust, repeatable, and adaptable signal processing architecture
• Engineer solutions for low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) deployments such as Versal ACAP devices
• Ensure all solutions are thoroughly designed, documented, and tested
• Use and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to encode quality within the Software Development Life Cycle
• Adhere to applicable corporate and DoD processes & standards

Requirements

• Secret clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
• 8+ years of experience in high performance C++ applications software engineering within Linux environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware acceleration concepts
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Xilinx/AMD Versal ACAP platforms
• Experience with Vitis Unified Software Platform and Vivado Design Suite
• Familiarity with FPGA design and hardware description languages (VHDL/Verilog)
• Experience with DoD/DoW projects
• Current US Secret security clearance
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with AI assisted software development tools
