ELV Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, engineering, execution, and commissioning activities for ELV systems.
• Prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and compliance statements.
• Manage and supervise site activities including installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents.
• Conduct system integration activities with other building systems.
• Prepare method statements, inspection requests, and project documentation.
• Support the procurement team in technical evaluations and material approvals.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in design, execution, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems.
• Deep expertise in Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) and Public Address & Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems.
• Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and ICT Infrastructure.
• Proficiency in structured cabling, IP telephony, and network infrastructure.
• Proven capability in preparing technical submittals and BOQs.
• Experience with the integration of ELV systems with third-party systems.
• Knowledge of international standards and best engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on commercial buildings, data centers, healthcare, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
• Exposure to multinational projects and coordination with international consultants.
