ELV Assistant Technician

Responsibilities

• Support the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and PA systems.
• Assist with structured cabling works, including cable pulling, routing, termination, labeling, and dressing.
• Support the installation of conduits, trunking, and cable management systems.
• Assist in the basic configuration and mounting of ELV devices such as intercoms and cameras.
• Perform basic testing and inspections to verify system operation and report faults to senior engineers.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment lists and installation reports.
• Adhere to site safety rules, HSE compliance, and maintain organized work areas.

Requirements

• Technical or electrical diploma (2-year degree) or completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
• 2–4 years of experience in ELV installations or construction site support.
• Basic technical knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, PA, and Structured Cabling systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, soldering, and fault-testing equipment.
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work schedules accurately.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on quality, productivity, and teamwork.
