ELV Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, and Video Management Systems (VMS).
• Administer, troubleshoot, and maintain Milestone XProtect Corporate VMS and KABA Exos/Lenel Access Control systems.
• Manage and optimize camera systems from brands such as Axis, Samsung, Hikvision, Dahua, and Bosch.
• Develop and maintain SQL databases, including expert-level query development and troubleshooting.
• Conduct system integration, testing, and commissioning for various ELV projects.
• Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for system upgrades and issue resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation including design drawings, system configurations, and user manuals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an ELV Application Engineer or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Milestone XProtect, Hikvision, Dahua, Genetec, or Samsung VMS.
• Experience with PSIM systems such as CNL, Vidsys, or Advancis.
• Hands-on experience with storage systems including Dell, NetApp, or Resilient.
• Expertise in access control systems such as KABA Exos, Lenel, HID, or Matrix.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL databases, including design and optimization.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and system integration.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in relevant ELV systems (e.g., Milestone Certified Integration Engineer, KABA Access Control Certification).
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including switches, servers, and storage systems.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies in security and surveillance.
