About the role
Responsibilities
- Review cash assistance case records and computer data for funding eligibility and claim adjustments
- Analyze shelter and domestic violence service invoices and rosters for correct claim category shifts
- Verify invalid Social Security Number files, client demographics, and supporting documentation
- Prepare turnaround documents, referral reports, and backup records for audits and finance submissions
- Perform quality assurance on EDW queries and complete manual case lookups for inquiries and staff requests
- Support special projects and maintain compliance with federal, state, and agency policy
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree with 3 years of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience
- One year of administrative or supervisory experience
- Strong case review and documentation skills
- Familiarity with public assistance systems and eligibility rules
- Ability to meet tight claim deadlines and handle detailed records
