Elevator Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Lead all elevator operations including grain receiving, drying, storage, conditioning, and outbound shipments
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Oversee grain quality, inventory accuracy, grading processes, and recordkeeping
• Partner with the Marketing team to coordinate commodity receiving and shipping schedules
• Collaborate with plant leadership to support seamless operations across departments
• Ensure scale systems, grading equipment, and material-handling equipment are maintained and operating efficiently
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop employees to build an accountable team culture
• Monitor operational performance and key metrics while preparing reports, budgets, and forecasts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of grain elevator, agribusiness, shipping/receiving, or related operational experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial or agricultural environment
• Strong understanding of grain handling, grading, drying, storage, and inventory management
• Experience operating and troubleshooting grain facility equipment, including scales and drying systems
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
