Elevator and Escalator Installation Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Install new elevators and escalators with high quality and efficiency
• Perform pre-installation and post-installation inspections to ensure safety and quality standards
• Adhere to all environmental health and safety guidelines during all work activities
• Communicate directly with customers on-site to build and maintain positive working relationships
• Coordinate with sales, clients, and partner companies to ensure smooth project execution within deadlines
• Travel to various sites as required by the project scope

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and their application to installation
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings
• Mathematical proficiency for precise installation tasks
• Valid driver's license
• Strong interest in pursuing a long-term career in elevator installation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the installation of elevators, escalators, or similar lifting equipment
• Enthusiasm for learning new technical products and emerging technologies
