Elementary Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach standards-based lessons aligned to grade-level standards using EL Education for ELA and Eureka Math for mathematics
• Create a structured, engaging classroom culture with clear expectations and strong routines
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs including intervention, acceleration, and enrichment
• Support students' social-emotional growth and development as community members
• Collaborate with grade-level, special education, and multilingual learner teams
• Partner with families to communicate student progress and areas for growth
• Participate in coaching cycles, classroom observations, and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Pennsylvania elementary teacher certification or active progress toward certification (preferred)
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Ability to use student data to adjust instruction and address learning gaps

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in urban school communities
• Experience with EL Education, Eureka Math, or other high-quality instructional curricula
• Commitment to building strong relationships with students, families, and staff
