Responsibilities

• Provide academic support based on expertise and alignment with the Illinois curriculum standards
• Offer remedial or enrichment instruction based on each student’s needs
• Assign supplemental materials to enhance understanding and retention
• Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to report on student progress and goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid Illinois State teaching certificate (or equivalent from another state), enrollment in a teacher certification program, 2+ years of teaching experience, or experience as a university lecturer/TA
• Energetic and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to various learning styles
• Professional, punctual, and organized
