Elementary School Teacher

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for intellectual and emotional growth
• Deliver rigorous, engaging lessons tailored to diverse student needs
• Implement evidence-based instructional strategies using neuroscience and mindfulness principles
• Assess and document student growth across academic, social, and emotional domains
• Collaborate with teaching teams to analyze data and plan instructional adjustments
• Maintain regular communication with families through weekly contact and conferences
• Participate in professional development and respond to instructional feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Valid Indiana State Teacher's License in Elementary Education (K-6)
• Must be deemed Highly Qualified by the Indiana Department of Education
• Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and group settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree
• Early Literacy Endorsement
• Experience in a Title I school or with similar populations
• Experience implementing restorative practices
