Elementary School Principal

Responsibilities

• Partner with DPAC Regional Superintendent to inform goals and vision for the scholar, family, and staff experience
• Oversee Democracy Prep at the Agassi Campus Elementary School as the educational leader
• Manage and coach Instructional Coaches, a Dean of Culture, and Grade Level Leaders
• Establish a positive culture of high expectations and continuous improvement
• Drive instructional programs through regular coaching, professional development, and lesson plan reviews
• Manage school operations including extracurricular activities and discipline systems
• Monitor student and staff growth using formal and informal data to inform planning
• Establish the annual master schedule for instructional programs
• Execute weekly staff professional development

Requirements

• At least four years of experience as a highly effective teacher with a track record of raising student achievement
• Bachelor's degree (required)
• Ability to translate academic standards into effective instructional design
• Strong data analysis and insight extraction skills
• Excellent writing and oratorical skills to connect with students, families, and staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field
• Prior experience as a School Principal
• Demonstrated success in building leadership capacity in others
