Elementary School Music Lead Teacher

Responsibilities

• Lead the music curriculum for elementary students, ensuring a joyful, safe, and rigorous learning environment.
• Prepare and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans and assessments that drive student growth.
• Analyze student academic data to refine instructional practices and modify curricula.
• Implement school-wide student culture systems and proactive classroom management strategies.
• Maintain regular, strong communication with families regarding student progress and growth.
• Participate in professional development, including summer pre-service training and weekly sessions.
• Collaborate with grade-level and content teams to implement shared systems and tackle challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2+ years of full-time teaching experience.
• Ability to obtain required MTEL and SEI endorsements (financial and study support provided).
• Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check.
