About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging math curriculum using company-created materials designed for advanced students
- Lead small-group classes (up to 16 students) and facilitate student-led learning
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to maintain an engaging environment
- Grade assessments and provide constructive feedback to students
- Build positive relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
- Inspire a love for critical thinking and mathematical problem-solving
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Strong content knowledge in mathematics
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
- Ability to work onsite at our Irvine, CA campus
- Availability for weekday evening and/or weekend hours (afterschool program)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related or educational field
- K-12 classroom teaching experience
