Elementary Language Arts Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging language arts curriculum designed for advanced elementary students using company-created materials
• Lead small-group, student-led learning sessions to actively involve students in each class
• Manage classroom dynamics for groups of up to 16 students
• Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback on tests
• Build positive relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
• Foster a love for learning and critical thinking through interactive instruction

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (degree in education or humanities strongly preferred)
• Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar
• Previous experience teaching or tutoring students
• Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
• Ability to commute to our in-person campus in Saratoga, CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with advanced or gifted learners
• Ability to facilitate collaborative, student-led classroom environments
