About the role

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students to identify unique strengths and needs and develop/implement IEPs
  • Maximize learning experiences for students with special needs in academics and interpersonal skills
  • Implement district-approved curriculum and document student progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
  • Monitor and report on student progress regularly using data to guide interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
  • Contribute to curriculum development and use instructional technologies to improve educational quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed by the start date
  • Teaching license or alternative license secured by the start date
  • Outstanding communication and collaborative skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience as a K–3 grade teacher
  • Experience with project-based learning instructional strategies
