About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead small, engaging classes in elementary level math and language arts using company-created curriculum
- Actively involve students in student-led learning and collaborative problem-solving
- Manage classroom environments of up to 16 students effectively
- Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback on tests
- Build strong relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
- Inspire a love for learning and critical thinking in advanced young learners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field, Education, Humanities, or equivalent experience
- Strong content knowledge in mathematics, reading, writing, and grammar
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
- Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
- Ability to work onsite at our Santa Clara, CA campus
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous classroom teaching experience at the K-5 level
