Elementary Instructor

Responsibilities

• Lead small, engaging classes in elementary level math and language arts using company-created curriculum
• Actively involve students in student-led learning and collaborative problem-solving
• Manage classroom environments of up to 16 students effectively
• Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback on tests
• Build strong relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
• Inspire a love for learning and critical thinking in advanced young learners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field, Education, Humanities, or equivalent experience
• Strong content knowledge in mathematics, reading, writing, and grammar
• Experience teaching or tutoring students
• Availability to work weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
• Ability to work onsite at our Santa Clara, CA campus

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous classroom teaching experience at the K-5 level
