Elementary Instructor

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging small classes in elementary level math and language arts using company-created curriculum
• Actively involve students in student-led learning and collaborative problem-solving
• Manage classroom environments of up to 16 students effectively
• Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback on tests
• Build strong relationships with students and families to support their educational journey
• Inspire a love for learning and critical thinking in advanced young learners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field, Education, Humanities, or equivalent experience
• Strong content knowledge in math, reading, writing, and grammar
• Ability to teach weekday evenings (starting as early as 4pm) and/or weekends
• Must be located in or able to commute to the Vienna, VA campus for in-person instruction
• Legal authorization to work in the US (sponsorship is not available)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous classroom teaching experience at the K-5 level
• Experience in tutoring or teaching students in an academic setting
