Elementary After-School Sports Coach

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate sports classes for elementary-aged children
• Teach fundamental sports skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and respect
• Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment using positive reinforcement
• Ensure the safety and well-being of every participant throughout each class
• Follow Amazing Athletes' curriculum while bringing enthusiasm and personality to every session
• Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and school staff

Requirements

• Experience working with children in sports, coaching, education, childcare, or camp settings
• Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping kids build confidence through sports
• Energetic, positive personality with the ability to engage and motivate children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Availability to work at least three weekdays from 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
• Reliable transportation to travel between program locations
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
