About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze input data and customer specifications to design electrical systems.
- Create electrical manufacturing and installation files, including electrical diagrams and cabinet studies.
- Dimension electrical equipment such as cables, protections, switching systems, drives, sensors, and actuators.
- Ensure all designs comply with current standards and regulations.
- Write and update technical documentation and user manuals.
- Perform risk and functional analyses and participate in certification processes.
- Address and resolve non-conformities identified during inspections.
- Defend technical choices to clients, control bodies, and internal teams.
- Support the commissioning of equipment.
Requirements
- Bac+2 to Bac+3 degree in electrotechnics, electrical engineering, or electrical design.
- Proven experience in an industrial design office, specifically within special machinery, process industry, or highly regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards: EN 60204-1, EN CEI 61439-1-2, and EN 61010-1.
- Knowledge of Machine and Low Voltage Directives (2006/42/CE, 2035/14/UE).
- Proficiency in See Electrical Expert software.
- Technical English proficiency for an international environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Schneider, etc.).
- Experience with logic module programming (Logo, Zelio, etc.).
- Knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards (EN IEC 61000-6-4, EN IEC 61000-6-2).
