Electrophysiology Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support to electrophysiologists during interventions in the operating room
• Assist with the creation and analysis of 3D cardiac electrical maps to aid in arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment
• Manage the setup and proper functioning of medical equipment in the operating room alongside paramedical teams
• Investigate and report device malfunctions in compliance with medical device vigilance regulations
• Train medical and paramedical staff on the use of Abbott technologies and clinical applications
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to provide high-quality service to healthcare facilities

Requirements

• Scientific or technical degree in the biomedical field
• Experience working in a hospital operating room environment
• Valid driving license and ability to travel frequently to hospital sites (approximately 75% travel)
• Proficiency in English for training and technical documentation purposes
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with medical professionals
