Electronics Test Technician III

Responsibilities

• Perform scripted and unscripted tests on radar systems and subsystems to identify failures
• Localize failures to the subsystem level to support rework and production flow
• Compile test and measurement data into key performance metrics to identify systemic issues
• Develop and document debug methodologies to resolve emergent failure modes
• Collaborate with electrical, systems, and manufacturing engineering teams on root-cause analysis and corrective actions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience performing hands-on electronics measurement
• Hands-on experience working with micro-electronics PCBA in a lab environment
• Proficiency using digital and analog test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, digital multimeters)
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and signal generators
• Familiarity with ESD (electro-static-discharge) equipment and procedures
• Eligibility to handle export-controlled data (ITAR/EAR)

Preferred Qualifications

• Python experience for interfacing with test equipment
• Experience assessing standard RF test metrics (return-loss, gain, noise-figure, compression point, and bandwidth)
• Understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuits, power distribution, I2C/SPI protocols, and clock synthesis
• Ability to read schematics to identify test points, components, and circuits
