Electronics Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Use electronics test equipment to evaluate system performance, compliance, and troubleshoot operational issues
• Execute hardware tests and generate detailed status and test reports
• Define verification matrices and internal performance specifications
• Review test result data to ensure actual performance meets expected requirements
• Recommend improvements to existing test strategies and new testing technologies
• Design test fixtures and perform calibration on test equipment
• Ensure proper handling and use of sensitive circuits and equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of relevant hardware test experience
• Hands-on experience with bench top power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, and thermal chambers
• Experience with digital interfaces including RS-232, USB 2.0, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet
• Experience validating power supply sequencing, efficiency, and ripple for DC/DC converters, LDOs, and PMICs
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident) due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications

• Test automation experience using Python or LabView
• Knowledge of PCB layout guidelines
• Experience with audio testing and characterization
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and critical thinking skills
