About the role

Responsibilities

  • Solder, assemble, and troubleshoot printed circuit boards for embedded solutions
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded systems and IoT data collection systems
  • Build electronic breadboard and prototype circuits
  • Support the development of custom sensor interface systems for manufacturing and remote sensing
  • Work within a multidisciplinary technical team to integrate hardware and data collection systems

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of related experience
  • Experience with SMD and through-hole component soldering
  • Proficiency with electrical and mechanical hand tools
  • Experience building electronic breadboard/prototype circuits
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits
  • U.S. citizenship required due to federal research contract requirements
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Altium Designer or KiCAD
  • Experience designing circuit boards
  • Experience programming with Python
