Electronics Technician - Operational Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on production plants
• Localize, diagnose, and resolve errors using process control systems
• Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC)
• Diagnose actuators, sensors, and instrumentation within the facilities
• Perform and document quality-relevant calibrations
• Ensure plant safety before executing repair or maintenance work
• Support the commissioning of new production plants
• Execute minor technical plant modifications
• Independently process work orders using the SAP-PM ERP system

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable field
• Strong knowledge of PLC (SPS) and DCS (PLS) systems
• Fluent German language skills
• High level of safety awareness and responsibility
• Solution-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in a team
• Flexibility to work in day shifts, occasional rotating shifts (up to 21:00), and on-call duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience in the chemical industry or a related field
• Basic knowledge of English
