About the role
About the Company
Monumental is automating on-site construction with robotics and software. Our mission is to make construction software-defined and autonomous, creating a future where beautiful, bespoke buildings are constructed with minimal labour.
Responsibilities
- Own production assembly batches for the robot fleet with consistent quality and speed
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to refine designs based on testing
- Implement and improve procedures for electronic assembly and testing
- Troubleshoot electronic components and systems for autonomous construction robots and accessories
- Manage inventory for electronic components and tools to prevent project delays
- Assist in field tests of robotic systems, providing technical support and insights
- Maintain the current fleet of robots through regular health checks and maintenance
Requirements
- Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals
- Hands-on experience in hardware assembly and debugging (soldering, cabling, wiring, crimping)
- Ability to use hand tools for mechanical assembly and small mechanical fixtures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities
- Minimum of 2 years of comparable work experience
- BSc, HBO, MBO, diploma or equivalent in a relevant field
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering or technical degree
- Ability to read schematics
