Electronics Technician

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, test, and troubleshoot complex wiring harnesses and electronic systems for unmanned aerospace applications
• Assemble, route, and install wiring harnesses according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Populate circuit cards using approved through-hole and surface mount soldering techniques
• Inspect and test harness assemblies for continuity, shorts, and proper operation using multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Diagnose and repair issues with wiring harnesses, connectors, and related components
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to address design and production issues
• Provide feedback on engineering designs to improve manufacturability and functionality

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience
• Or a 2-year post-secondary/Associate's Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and interconnect diagrams
• Proficiency in soldering and crimping
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001 certification
• Experience using spectrum analyzers and other advanced testing equipment
• Active Secret security clearance
• Experience working in environments implementing ESD and FOD controls
• Knowledge of product quality processes
