Electronics Specialist Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as an electronics specialist on various client projects or ALTEN-led result-oriented projects
• Provide technical expertise for multisectoral needs in industry, telecommunications, and aerospace
• Support pre-sales phases by analyzing client needs and developing technical responses
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of the Electronics expertise development strategy
• Dynamize the Electronics Competence Community in Bordeaux through knowledge sharing and training
• Collaborate with local industrial and academic actors to strengthen the regional ecosystem

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in electronics
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electronics and/or the defense sector
• Expertise in analog and digital electronic design (low voltage, filtering, sensor/actuator interfaces)
• Knowledge of power electronics (AC/DC, DC/DC, inverters, etc.)
• Proficiency in electronic CAD tools and simulations (SPICE, Matlab/Simulink)
• Understanding of functional safety, electrical safety, and EMC constraints
• Mastery of industrial and home automation communication protocols
• Fluency in English (written and oral)
• Ability to travel for professional meetings and events

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of embedded systems
• Strong leadership and ability to unite teams
