Electronics Lab Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic equipment issues, including parts replacement, rewiring, and recalibration
• Perform rework of electronic components using hand soldering, dip soldering, and de-soldering for BGA, DIP, and other components
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on equipment
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure effective service delivery
• Identify root causes of tester failures and procure correct configuration parts such as NI chassis, I/O cards, and power supplies
• Drive change management processes for electronic products, including implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Propose improvements for test benches and test strategies to enable faster debugging and root cause analysis
• Lead critical failure analyses and create 8D reports for quality improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies, including EHS protocols and ISO requirements

Requirements

• Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing and test industrialization (electrical/electronic engineering)
• Expertise in electronic circuits and components, including FPGA, MOSFET, processors, ICs, and digital memory layouts
• Experience in chip-level component soldering and circuit-level analysis
• Knowledge of technical test architecture, including PXI, instrumentation, Ethernet, and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, USB)
• Proficiency in English and Hindi
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in IPC 7711/7721 or IPC A 610G
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing supervision tools
• Familiarity with NI chassis, frequency generators, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and DMMs
