Electronics Engineering Technician Level D

Responsibilities

• Set up test equipment and perform manual and automated electronic testing in production and Engineering Lab environments
• Perform electronic troubleshooting and fault isolation to the component level
• Record test data and maintain documentation, including shop routing and accept/reject data for assemblies
• Assist technicians and engineers with Root Cause and Failure Analysis
• Support Engineering in establishing operating standards, detailed test plans, and work instructions

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant work experience
• OR a 2-year post-secondary/Associate's degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience
• Proven experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic circuits and components
• Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance or higher
• Experience using RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, and signal generators
• Previous experience working within the Defense Industry or Electronics Manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with computerized test equipment
