About the role

About the Company

OLIX is addressing the massive infrastructure gap in the AI era. The company is developing the OLIX Decode Accelerator 1 (DX-1), a new paradigm in hardware designed specifically for decode, utilizing rack-scale co-design of logic, data movement, packaging, optics, and interconnect to achieve a step change in system-level performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of electronic engineers
  • Oversee the design, development, verification, and validation of electronic hardware products
  • Provide technical guidance on schematics, PCB layouts, and test strategies
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
  • Manage departmental budgets, tools, and engineering resources
  • Define and implement the engineering roadmap in line with organizational goals
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and transition products into manufacturing
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading high-performing electronics engineering teams
  • Strong background in complex electronic systems for high-performance computing or networking
  • Expertise in high-speed digital design (signal integrity, power integrity, EMC)
  • Experience with high-speed interfaces operating at 10Gb/s and above
  • Understanding of multilayer PCB architectures and advanced packaging
  • Experience delivering products from concept through to production and lifecycle support
  • Ability to manage external design partners and technology suppliers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with processor, accelerator, and memory technologies
  • Knowledge of thermal management and power delivery constraints
  • Familiarity with configuration management and product lifecycle management (PLM) processes
