Electronics Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Directly manage, mentor, and expand a team of both junior and senior electronics engineers
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and architect next-generation electronic systems
• Oversee the entire hardware lifecycle, from design and development to implementation and verification
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules to align hardware development with program timelines
• Drive the design process, including specification, component selection, circuit board design, and system-level integration
• Lead the team through hands-on debugging, board bring-up, and system validation
• Play a key role in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new team members
• Provide expert support to production and operations teams for successful hardware deployment

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field
• 5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced product design and development environment
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing complex electronic hardware from concept to production
• Proven experience in building and managing engineering teams
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with photovoltaics
• Experience with Li-ion batteries and battery management systems
• Experience with magnetics in power electronics
• Knowledge of radiation effects on electronic components
