Electronics Engineer - CNC Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, process equipment, and mechanical systems including motors, conveyors, and hydraulic tools
• Provide technical expertise for machine design, building in-house machines, and retrofitting equipment to improve production efficiency
• Program PLCs, temperature controllers, and other electronic devices
• Calibrate process loops (temperature, amps, volts, etc.) and tune servo controls on CNC equipment
• Perform component-level troubleshooting on circuit boards
• Manage electronic part inventories and source alternative replacements for obsolete or costly parts
• Support maintenance teams and other company sites with technical troubleshooting and repairs
• Ensure all processes operate in an environmentally responsible manner in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in electronics or a related field
• Proven experience in a heavy CNC manufacturing environment or machining
• Strong working knowledge of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic testing equipment
• Proficiency in CNC programming and controls
• Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and international)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights or on ladders

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrical or electronics engineering degree
• Experience with PLC programming and servo control tuning
