Responsibilities

• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations on hardware failures in the deployed fleet
• Document findings and drive corrective actions across R&D, Electronics, and Embedded teams
• Develop tools, jig tests, and setups for component test, validation, and debugging
• Repair critical components
• Track and report reliability KPIs for the deployed equipment fleet
• Provide design-for-repairability (DFR) and design-for-testability (DFT) feedback to R&D
• Contribute to FMEA reviews and reliability risk assessments
• Support DVT/EVT/PVT build phases with test coverage analysis
• Collaborate with Industrialization and Production teams to close quality loops

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware (PCB/PCBA design, bring-up, or validation)
• Solid understanding of electronics fault isolation and root cause analysis methodologies
• Familiarity with reliability engineering concepts such as FMEA and KPI reporting
• Strong documentation discipline
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical findings clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded systems, firmware bring-up, or low-level protocols (UART, SPI, I2C)
• Experience with IoT hardware platforms or connected product ecosystems
• Experience in NPI processes (EVT/DVT/PVT) and working with EMS/ODM partners
• Knowledge of HALT/HASS testing methodologies
