Electronics Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital electronics, analog electronics, and small power supplies for home energy systems
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, EMC, RF, and manufacturing test engineers
• Perform bring up and debug of new boards
• Manage full lifecycle of circuit board electronics from specification through manufacturing
• Contribute to product level features, design, and vision

Requirements

• Strong PCBA design experience (digital/analog)
• Experience designing and debugging digital communication buses (CAN, Ethernet, RS-485, USB, SPI, I2C, etc.)
• Experience with selection and design of analog sensors and signal conditioning circuits

Preferred Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent evidence of exceptional ability
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• High speed signals design experience (DDR, eMMC, Ethernet, USB) or strong desire to learn
• Experience with Altium or similar ECAD tools
