About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-speed digital hardware for aerospace and aeronautical imaging products
- Develop schematics, perform circuit card layout, and conduct circuit analysis using standard design tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, test, firmware, systems, and manufacturing engineers
- Perform design verification in a laboratory setting to ensure hardware meets project requirements
- Support the manufacturing and assembly of complex circuit cards in compliance with IPC standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Coursework or laboratory experience in Digital Design and Electronics (signals evaluation, solid state electronics, signal processing, filter design, or power electronics)
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- GPA of 3.2 or higher in Electrical Engineering coursework
- Experience using digital and power measurement instruments such as Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, and Function Generators
- Proficiency with circuit simulation tools like Spice and Matlab
- Experience with ECAD layout tools such as Altium, OrCad, or Mentor Expedition
- Experience with signal integrity simulation tools like Hyperlynx
- Experience with configurable/programmable logic design using AMD (Xilinx) FPGA design tools
