Electronics Design, Co-Op

Responsibilities

• Design electronic circuits using EDA tools, including SPICE simulators, schematic capture, and PCB layout tools
• Perform electrical and thermal performance testing on cameras
• Build and test electronic circuits using electronics workbench tools and various test equipment
• Test, troubleshoot, and iterate on first revisions of electronic circuit boards
• Create and maintain design documentation, assembly trees, and bills of materials
• Estimate work and costs required for proposed tasks and track progress accordingly

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited university undergraduate or Master's program
• Hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic components
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuits
• Proficiency with EDA tools and SPICE simulators
• Strong soldering and improvisation abilities
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for electronics and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
