Electronics Design and Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with multi-discipline groups to develop high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements
• Guide structural design and configuration development by performing trade studies to optimize structure
• Perform detailed structural and thermal analysis using hand calculations and analysis tools
• Document structural analyses and data to show compliance with Boeing, customer, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering teams to perform sizing, placement studies, and PCB layout/routing
• Validate designs through various methods of review, testing, and analysis
• Conduct Root Cause and Corrective Action to investigate failures and develop go-forward plans
• Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools
• Experience with thermal, structural, dynamics, and/or vibration analysis OR experience with PCB design or assembly

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
• Experience within the aerospace industry or working with space electronics
• Proficiency with ANSYS, Creo CAD, SolidWorks, FEA, Siemens NX Nastran, MSC Patran, or COMSOL Multiphysics
• Strong ability to collect, organize, and analyze data to develop technical recommendations
• Experience leading teams on complex projects
