Electronics Debug Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform measurements and tests on Echodyne radar systems and subsystems to identify root causes for production test failures
• Localize failures to the subsystem level for rework technicians to ensure smooth production flow
• Compile and analyze test and measurement data, distilling results into key performance metrics
• Develop and document debug methodologies to resolve emergent failure modes
• Collaborate with electrical engineering, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure thorough root-cause analysis and effective corrective actions

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience performing hands-on electronics measurement
• Eligibility to handle export-controlled data (ITAR/EAR)
• Hands-on experience working with micro-electronics PCBA in a lab environment
• Proficiency with RF test equipment (network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers) up through Ka-band (40GHz)
• Experience using digital and analog measurement equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers
• Strong root-cause analysis skills and ability to assess standard RF metrics (return-loss, gain, noise-figure, etc.)
• Familiarity with ESD equipment and procedures

• Python experience for interfacing with test equipment
