Electronic Warfare and Radar System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Execute systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle of radar and electronic warfare (REW) systems.
• Combine hands-on field work at test ranges with data-driven analysis to inform design, development, and integration.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute field testing activities, including real-time data collection and validation under operational constraints.
• Implement and evaluate radar and EW algorithms for detection, classification, geolocation, and interference mitigation.
• Perform EDA, descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analysis on EW and RF datasets.
• Produce technical reports and deliver briefings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Signal Processing, or a closely related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Radar and Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering.
• Strong signal processing fundamentals, including Fourier/time-frequency analysis and Doppler processing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, Julia, or C/C++.
• Demonstrated experience with field deployment and testing of EW/RF systems.
• Experience with algorithm implementation including beamforming, pulse/PRI analysis, and EW techniques (ES/EA/EP).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience applying Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience with airborne, naval, or tactical ground EW deployments.
• Knowledge of EW toolchains, simulation environments, threat emulators, and HIL testing.
• Experience with RF propagation modeling and operating EW test equipment.
