About the role
Responsibilities
- Setup and perform repetitive technical electronic test functions using written procedures and instructions
- Align, tune, and troubleshoot standard product filters and circuit card assemblies to the component level
- Perform component-level troubleshoot and repair of RF hopping filters and subassemblies, including digital controllers and RF platforms
- Execute simple electronic and mechanical assembly tasks, such as soldering tap wires or installing covers, to meet specifications
- Utilize schematics, PCB/PWB layouts, mechanical drawings, and work instructions for all tasks
- Operate RF test equipment including Agilent/HP Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multi-meters
- Perform continuity tests on wire harnesses according to manufacturing drawings and wire charts
Requirements
- Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident/Green Card Holder)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2-year degree in an electronics field from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of RF-related technician experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of J-STD-001-D and ability to obtain certification
- Proficiency with common RF test equipment and calibration procedures
- Understanding of RF filter principles such as bandwidth, Q, insertion loss, and return loss
- Ability to pass and obtain IPC-610 certification
- Basic PC skills for data entry and test software utilization
