About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various electronic equipment and devices
- Operate and maintain electronic transmitting/receiving equipment, digital/analog computers, and microwave amplifiers
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform component-level repairs to restore operating condition
- Use technical knowledge of electronic principles, schematics, and engineering data to solve problems
- Conduct inventories and maintain accountability records for ancillary and support equipment
- Document maintenance data, equipment status, and job completion
- Ensure strict compliance with Quality Control and Safety Programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with technical training in electronics
- 2-4 years of experience in electronics maintenance, repair, or operations
- Basic knowledge of DC/AC electronics, digital logic, and solid-state devices
- Proficiency with test equipment including spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and travel to remote locations near Fairbanks/Eielson AFB
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Radar and High-Power transmitters or similar systems
- Familiarity with threat systems and High power Radio Frequency devices
- Ability to read Cyrillic
