Electronic Technician, Maintenance II

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various electronic equipment and devices
• Operate and maintain electronic transmitting/receiving equipment, digital/analog computers, and microwave amplifiers
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform component-level repairs to restore operating condition
• Use technical knowledge of electronic principles, schematics, and engineering data to solve problems
• Conduct inventories and maintain accountability records for ancillary and support equipment
• Document maintenance data, equipment status, and job completion
• Ensure strict compliance with Quality Control and Safety Programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical training in electronics
• 2-4 years of experience in electronics maintenance, repair, or operations
• Basic knowledge of DC/AC electronics, digital logic, and solid-state devices
• Proficiency with test equipment including spectrum analyzers, multi-meters, and oscilloscopes
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and travel to remote locations near Fairbanks/Eielson AFB

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Radar and High-Power transmitters or similar systems
• Familiarity with threat systems and High power Radio Frequency devices
• Ability to read Cyrillic
