Electronic Technician III

Responsibilities

• Tune and test filters and electronic components using specification sheets, drawings, and blueprints
• Utilize network analyzers, computer programs, and various testing equipment to outline filter capacity and function
• Adhere to Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOP) and Automated Testing Procedures (ATP)
• Conduct quality assurance spot checks to ensure product accuracy and measure tolerances
• Use tools including multimeters, microscopes, soldering irons, calipers, and tuning instruments
• Record job-specific data on forms, logs, and time sheets with accuracy and speed
• Clean finished products according to established company procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Related experience in electronics training or repair (e.g., television repair)
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and bar graphs
• Strong mathematical skills with the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages
• Ability to use various hand tools and electronic testing equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional soldering experience or advanced soldering skills
