Electronic Technician Group Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of technicians engaged in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of FAA electronics and systems
• Coordinate project staff to support all aspects of electronics installation projects from start-up to closeout
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to subordinates, monitoring productivity and proficiency to ensure quality standards and budgets are met
• Maintain clear work standards, goals, and provide necessary training and development for personnel
• Ensure all assigned personnel observe safety measures and comply with site-specific safety procedures
• Support regional and project managers with Risk Management Plans (RMPs), purchase requisitions, and resource coordination
• Review and interpret design drawings and specifications to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with plans
• Manage document control systems in accordance with company and client procedures

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent technical work experience
• 10+ years of related experience in electronics installation and testing
• Proven experience in a lead or supervisory capacity
• Working knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Must be located in Anchorage, AK
