Electronic Technician Group Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of technicians engaged in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of FAA electronics and systems
• Coordinate project staff to support all aspects of electronics installation projects from start-up to closeout
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to subordinates, monitoring productivity and proficiency to ensure quality standards and budgets are met
• Maintain clear work standards and goals while providing necessary training and development for personnel
• Support regional program managers by developing Risk Management Plans and creating purchase requisitions
• Review and interpret design drawings and specifications to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with plans
• Ensure all work is installed in accordance with industry standards and that all tests and inspections are properly documented
• Collaborate with risk specialists to eliminate hazards and ensure compliance with site-specific safety procedures

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field or equivalent technical work experience
• 10+ years of related experience in electronics installation and troubleshooting
• Proven experience serving in a lead or supervisory capacity
• Working knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Must be located in Anchorage, AK
